Gunmetal Round Bar – Specifications 1. Material Grade Gunmetal is a copper-tin-zinc alloy, sometimes with small amounts of lead. Common grades: • C90300 / RG5 – Standard gunmetal • C90500 / RG7 – High strength, corrosion-resistant • C90600 / RG10 – Bearing applications ⸻ 2. Chemical Composition (Typical – C90300) • Copper (Cu): 88–90% • Tin (Sn): 5–10% (adds hardness and corrosion resistance) • Zinc (Zn): 2–5% (improves strength) • Lead (Pb): ≤ 1% (optional, improves machinability) ⸻ 3. Size Range • Diameter: 6 mm to 200 mm • Length: Standard 3 m / 6 m • Custom cut lengths available Forms: Hot rolled, cast, or turned bars. ⸻ 4.
